Nomad Party

In History class, Sydney is learning about the Nomads and their lifestyle. One of the best ways for a kid to learn is by doing so thats what her teacher did for these kids. We got the kids all dressed up in the latest Nomad attire and sent them out on a hunt for a date source, (i.e. Drinking fountain.) Their goal of the day was to find three different water sources. They also had to carry all their belongings on their backs just like the Nomad. Once their hike was over they came back to the room to enjoy a typical Nomad dinner and hear stories of the lifestyle. The dinner consisted of a lot of goat products; goat milk, goat cheese, cheese curds, olives, pita bread and honey. The cheese curds were a huge success to my surprise. The goat milk and cheese, not so much.
