Halloween
It has been an annual tradition to visit the Boo at the Zoo event to kick off the gathering of the candy. This year was no exception. So we headed to the super crowded zoo and made our way through the dozens of candy booths.
When Halloween arrived, the girls got a surprise as Nana and Papa arrived for a holiday visit. Nana was excited to perform the traditional pumpkin carving with the girls.
However, Sydney got way way into it and started to act like she ate way to much candy!
The whole group ready for the evening to begin!
Sydney decided to be a “good witch” this year. I think this was some Wizard of Oz reference that she had remembered.
Kim had decorated the porch with this flying ghost that you clap for and it scares you. Sydney endlessly made it go off for days in advance. Anyone that came to the door was forced to see what it was all about.
We hit dozens of houses but then Sydney was ready to return home and perform her favorite job — handing out the candy to the kids. So she sat on the porch and when each kid came up she selected the candy for them and put it in the bag. She is a natural.
