My First Performance

Some combination of Mom and Dad has been taking Sydney to gymnastics for as long as I can remember. This week she was finally old enough to participate in the spring recital! Basically, all the different age groups come out one at a time to do their routine they have been working on. Sydney’s group were the youngest performing. The phrase “herding cats” comes to mind while watching the kids perform. They quickly get distracted and are off looking around or whatever. Its comical.

Birthday Party

Mom planned a great birthday party this year at the Sunflower Farm. Its a small farm that has lots to do for kids.

Sydney and Connor go for a spin. Why is it that kids can do this all day but adults will vommit after a couple rotations?

Sydney really liked this horse swing. It had a really long chain so you could swing really far. Helene wants a turn but it isn’t going to be easy to get a birthday girl off.

Sydney will show you the way up the big tree house.

Unfortunately, we were running around the whole party so we didn’t do a great job with pictures. Did get some video of the action though.

Cage Your Children

4 Years Old

Today is Sydney’s birthday! She came into our room at about 6 AM wondering where her presents were. Its not Christmas. The big birthday party with friends and family will be this Saturday.

Mom made me a wonderful cake for my special day!
