Repeated Words

Sydney’s vocabulary is growing. She is starting to form sentences now. Kim and I found it humorous how many of her words use the same sound repeated. So since you may see Sydney during the upcoming holidays, here is a guide:

  • Mom – Ma Ma
  • Dad – Da Da
  • #1 – Pee Pee
  • #2 – Poo Poo
  • Bottle – Ba Ba
  • Goodbye – Bye Bye
  • Grandpa – Pa Pa
  • Good Night – Ni Ni
  • Sydney – Ne Ne
  • Train – Choo Choo
  • No – No No
  • Yummy – Um Um
  • Baby – Bee Bee
  • Banana or Grandma – Na Na

Oh, and all animals are mostly known by their sounds.

  • Dog – Arf Arf
  • Cat – Meeow
  • Horse – Nay
  • Lion/Tiger – Grrr
  • Cow – Mew
  • Duck – Quack Quack
  • Sheep – Baa
  • Rooster – Cock-a-doo-doo (hand held on top of head)
  • Grandma Carole

To Sydney’s Parents: Could you please work on Grandma, Nana, Grammie or something before you come? Afterall we do the babysitting!
