Cracker Barrel Folks

The Chairman and First Lady of the Cracker Barrel arrived last night. Guess where they went for dinner? Yep. Here is the Chairman pictured with Sydney and the limited edition Cracker Barrel Beanie Baby.

Grandma Coburn brought Santa with her as well. I did not find this very funny. Let me explain. I arrived home at midnight after my flight. Walking around a dark house and trying to be quiet, I saw this silhouette of someone sitting on the couch. Needless to say, it freaked me out.

On Jan. 1, 2004, my wife and I stopped to eat at the Tuscaloosa Cracker Barrel Store #272. We had a 30 minute wait to be seated, that was o.k. because the place was packed. What really upset us was the waitress. After we had been seated and our orders were taken, after we received our meal, it took 20 minutes to get refills on our drinks. The waitress spoke very little and very not polite at all. After asking if we wanted dessert, she simply walked away without taking our order. A kind gentleman came by, took our dessert order. When the waitress brought back our dessert, she never spoke a word, just slid the bowls across the table, put down the check, and walked away. We have eaten at this place several other times, but never had such rude service. This waitress needed an attitude ajustment.

I was looking for a Santa model for a cake contest I had. I looked in Google than found this picture. I don’t know where this Santa came from but it’s exactly what I was looking for. I won the contest and would like to share a picture of the Tiramisu Santa cake with Marshmallow and almond paste toppings I’ve made based on your picture. Buy the way, cute kid!
