Now Its Overdue

Ok, why do they call it a due date?  They should call it an estimated time of arrival (ETA).  Seems like the ETA right now is “not soon”.  No update.  Mom feels fine.

Excuse me Brandon but you weren’t “on time” either. I remember cooking a huge turkey dinner and had several guests over and was exhusted after entertaining. Shortly after bedtime you started to make your arrival! Cook a turkey!

Amen Carole!! I recall Eddie coming on day seven overdue. And Ryan after three exhausting days of false labor, topping his brother at 10 days past due. Christian was induced at four days overdue. I always went into labor walking, but then I always walked when I was pregnant.

Congratulations Brandon and Kim!!! I love the name Sydney, and have a friend back home in Indiana who has a daughter named Yvonne. She is now 34, and I’ve known her since she was 3 years old. It’s also a beautiful name. I know that Grandma Carole isn’t too proud. Better watch her though, or she will have Sydney spoiled rotten. My daughter, Jennifer was 2 12 weeks late, and then was a C-Section. I had problems with high blood pressure, so after 18 hours of hard labor, they were able to perform the surgery. Funny though how the suffering means nothing when you have such a wonderful miracle before you.

God bless Brandon, Kim, Sydney and all of family, and may you have many more memories to cherish over the years to come.

Know that you will be in my thoughts, and in my prayers.

    Love,
    Twyla
